Job DescriptionAs a Front Desk Agent, you are an ambassador of hospitality, ensuring that every guest's journey begins and ends with a positive and memorable impression of our resort.

As a Front Desk Agent, you will:

• Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests
• Issue room key and escort instructions to Bell Staff
• Date stamp, sort, and rack incoming mail and message
• Transmit and receive telephone messages
• Answer inquiries about hotel services, guest registration, shopping, dining, entertainment, and travel directions
• Keep records of room availability and guests' accounts
• Compute bills, collect payments, and make changes for guests
• Make and confirm reservations
• Post charges, such as room, food, liquor, or telephone, to the ledger
• Make restaurant, transportation, or entertainment reservations and arrange tours
• Nightly bucket checks
• Able to listen and find solutions to guests’ problem

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift up to 15lbs
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of team members and guests in an attentive and service-oriented manner
